Philippians 1: 3-4 Thanksgiving and Joy

TTN Ministry -- Philippians 1: 3-4 Thanksgiving and Joy To listen to the message, click the image above or the video below…

Philippians 1:3 (NKJV)
3. I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, 4. always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy,
5. for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now.

Thanksgiving & Joy

Notice how the apostle Paul starts with thanksgiving .. as Paul gives thanks according to verse 4 he receives joy. You see thankful people or grateful people experience … joy VS complaining and unthankful people will experience …. distress or grieve.

Quote: “Talk about your problems and
you will always have problems to talk about.”
Author Unknown

Quote: “Learn to be grateful and
you will have more each day to be grateful for.”
Author Unknown

Quote: “When I started counting my blessings,
my whole life turned around.”
Willie Nelson

There are loads of Scriptures that talk about thanksgiving and complaining. Just to mention a few:

Phil. 2:14 Do all things without complaining and disputing

Eph. 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father

I don’t have more time to teach on this specific topic, but let me close with this challenge: Start your day with Thanksgiving.

Find at least 10 things you are grateful for AND Go 24 hrs without complaining .. not even once .. and see how your life changes for good. RESULT: Go from grieve or stress to a life full of joy and peace.

So simple, but just try it and it will change your life.
